About Alan Wortman (Larian)

Born to modest parents of modest means in the southern swamps of the Missouri bootheel, Alan grew up and got out as quickly as circumstances allowed. He has been a terrible employee, a soldier, a truck driver, a student, a co-author on a physics paper, a medieval re-enactor, a homeless person, a target for middle-management hostility, a CAD drafter, a guitarist, a BASH programmer, a game designer, and author of several books. He currently lives in NE Arkansas with his wife and two sons.
