Dan Weld is General Manager & Chief Scientist of Semantic at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) and Professor Emeritus at UW's Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering. He's interested in intelligent tools for accelerating scientific research, including HCI methods for better human-AI interaction and NLP techniques for scientific document understanding.
