About Paul Allison

After 31 years working directly with students in NYC, I continue in retirement to teach youth by nurturing https://youthvoices.live, a youth-powered social network and multimedia publishing platform that I and other National Writing Project teachers started in 2003. I also manage https://nowcomment.com, a site for turning documents, images, and videos into conversations. I love putting old wine—like James Moffett, Peter Elbow, Ted Sizer, and Pat Carini—into new bottles—tools like ChatGPT.
